Teckels Animal Sanctuary, based near Gloucester, is an independent charity dedicated to helping cats and dogs in need. Their team works tirelessly to provide a safe haven for animals who have found themselves without a home, offering them the care, veterinary treatment, and support they need to recover and thrive.

Every year, Teckels welcomes hundreds of animals through its doors. Many arrive in urgent need of help, whether that’s medical attention or patient behavioural rehabilitation. The sanctuary’s staff and volunteers devote themselves to preparing these animals for the next stage of their journey: finding a family where they will be loved and valued for life.

Rehoming is at the heart of Teckels’ mission. Each adoption is carefully considered to ensure the right match between pet and owner, giving both the best chance of a happy, long-lasting relationship. Alongside this vital work, Teckels also runs boarding and daycare services for both dogs and cats, with all income directly supporting the rescue and rehoming programme.
